Neptune’s Net: How AI Became the Ocean’s Best Lifeguard (and Got a Seriously Cool Tan)
By 2045, AI-powered autonomous underwater vehicles, affectionately nicknamed “Aqua-Bots,” will be patrolling the oceans, not only identifying and reporting illegal fishing activity with laser-like precision (and maybe a sassy AI-generated commentary), but also actively herding endangered species away from harmful areas, like a highly-efficient, technologically advanced shepherd guiding a school of particularly clumsy fish. These Aqua-Bots, constantly learning and adapting, will even be capable of “talking” to marine life – though the translations might be a bit… fishy.
